5D4N MIRI & MULU TOUR

Visit Miri & spend the day going to interesting places in the city.
Fly to Mulu on the next day and visit the Show Caves of Mulu ; Deer Cave and Lang's Cave, Clearwater and Wind Cave. Infrastructure like plankwalk, electric lighting in the cave, staircase are done inside the Caves of Mulu.

Day 1: Arrive Miri / Miri City Tour / Mega Hotel (D)
Arrival in Miri then we go to do city tour for 3hrs, Tour features Malaysia 1st Oil Well or The Grand Old Lady located at Canada Hill, The largest Taoist Temple in South East Asia, Miri City Fan, Miri Heritage Centre (handicraft & souvenir) and visit Tamun Muhibbah ~ the local farmers market-you can find various tropical fruit and vegetable. We will also visit the beach in evening. After city tour, we check in to Mega Hotel and later go for dinner and overnight. (Dinner)
Day 2: Check out / Fly to Mulu / Deer Cave & Langs Cave (B, L, D)
After breakfasts, we check out and leave for airport at 1030am, for flight to Mulu. We then meet the guide and proceed by van to Park HQ. Take the plank walk to visit DEER CAVE, one of the biggest cave passages in the world. Close to Deer Cave is LANG'S CAVE, small but beautifully decorated. In the evening we will wait at the entrance to Deer Cave, where thousands of bats emerge most evenings to hunt for insects over the forest. We then return late in the afternoon to Park HQ and transfer to your accommodation. (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)
Day 3: Clearwater Cave & Wind Cave / Free & Easy (B, L, D)
At 0830hrs, we depart by longboat to the source of the Clearwater River. We first stop at Batu Bungan Penan Settlement for a short excursion of the settlement. You are able to see the hand made handicraft like baskets, bangles, mats by the Penan tribe. From there we go by boat to visit CAVE OF THE WINDS with unusual calcite formations, including the tall, slender stalagmites in King's Room. Just a few hundred meters upriver lies CLEARWATER CAVE where you have to climb 200 steps to the cave's main entrance; visit the Lady's Cave and the underground river. The pool at Clearwater Spring is a nice place to swim. In the afternoon, return to your accommodation. Free & easy for the rest of the day. Dinner. Overnight. (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)
Optional excursion: Canopy Skywalk at RM78 per person. The Mulu Canopy is the longest tree-based walkway in the World. As you walk among the ferns and vine 15-25 metres above the forest floor and river you will enjoy this unique opportunity to get closer to the rainforest 'Web of life'. It takes about 2 hours for the walk.
Day 4: Check out / Fly to Miri / Free & easy
After breakfasts we are free and then at 1130am, we will have lunch before we go to airport for flight to Miri. Upon arrival, we will be picked up for checkin at Mega Hotel. Free on own (Breakfast)
Day 5: Depart Miri (B)
Today we are free till time for airport departure for flight home. (Breakfast)
Includes: Flight tickets from Miri to Mulu ( return), 2 nights stay at Mega Hotel and 2 nights stay at Mulu Marriott Resort (based on twin / triple share), entry permit and fees, meals, excursion to Show Caves of Mulu and Nature Guide, and city tour in Miri as well as airport transfer
