BOHEY DULANG ISLAND:

Bohey Dulang is the second-largest island among the Tun Sakaran Marine Park islands.

The name Bohey Dulang comes from the Bajau language and basically means Bohey (water) and Dulang (pools).

Legend has it that Princess Salamia from Bum Bum Island was hidden by her family in Bohey Dulang, to avoid an arranged marriage to an ill-famed Sultan from the Southern Philippines. She was turned into a fairy and hidden by the spirits after her vanishment.

It is the only island in Tun Sakaran Marine park with a hiking trail. This island is a trekkers' and birdwatchers' favorite, offering amazing views from its 353m peak. It takes 45 minutes to reach the peak. When you reached the top, you will be awed by the breath taking view of the sea and other islands nearby.

MANTABUAN ISLAND:

Mantabuan Island is the smallest island in Tun Sakaran Marine Park, with an area of ~10 hectares or 0.1km². It is located just ±2km from the northern coasts of Bohey Dulang and Bodgaya, the biggest island in the marine park.

SIBUAN ISLAND:

Sibuan Island is located 30 minutes boat ride from Semporna mainland, It is one of the 8 islands that form Tun Sakaran Marine Park. It is one of the most scenic islands in the Celebes Sea.

Sibuan Island is also known as a Battleship Island because of its long and narrow shape. Its “bow” is the long strip of white sandy beach pointing to the north, and the dense trees behind looks like the bridge of a ship. It covers an area of approximately 15.13 hectares (0.15 square Kilometre).

Sibuan Island is formed entirely from the eroded remains of coral reef.
