TIMBA TIMBA ISLAND:
Timba - Timba Island is a small island in Semporna. The water here is clear and beautiful, making it a good place for snorkeling. Every corner is a picture perfect for Instagrammers, Youtubers and TikTokers for that picture-perfect beach holidays.
There are many sea creatures, which are called "God's aquarium" here as well.
You cannot stay overnight at Timba Timba island but basic facilities like the toilets, shelters and beach chairs are easily available.
You can rest at the gazebo, lounge on the hammock or find your sunbathing spot by the beach. The blue hues surrounding the islands is so irresistible that you want to just jump into the water.
For divers, you will discover the macro life at the 10 dive sites around Timba-Timba Island. Frogfish, moray eels, barracudas and nurse sharks are commonly encountered here.

MATAKING ISLAND:
Mataking Island when translated literally means "The Eyes of the King" . The size is about 40 acres and lies on the edge of continental shelf surrounded by fringing reef of hard and soft coral.
Mataking Island is famous for its Underwater Post Office. Yes, you read it right. A post office right under the water.
In March 2006, the resort decided to sink Mataking 1, an old 40-foot wooden cargo ship to create an artificial reef and also to serve as a unique underwater mailbox. It is the only one in the whole of Malaysia. This post office is located about 10 meters underwater, the post office is a mailbox where visitors can post waterproof postcards. These postcards are specially designed and stamped with a unique Mataking Island seal, making them a memorable souvenir. It is accessible only by divers because of the depth of the location. Mataking Island is connected to Pulau Mataking Kecil ( Small Mataking Island) via a narrow sand bank. Mataking Island is a private island belonging to the Reef Dive Resort featuring luxury chalets and a dive center serving divers visiting Sipadan.
POM POM ISLAND:
Pom Pom Island is around 45 minutes by boat from Semporna. It is surrounded by white sand and the turquoise waters of the Celebes Sea. There are many 5 star resorts here as well.
If you are a macro photographer, then this island is a must visit. You will be rewarded with jaw-dropping encounters with various species of nudibranchs, shrimps and other rarely encountered macro life.
Pom Pom Island is also famous for not only the beautiful beaches but also the vast amount of sea turtles.

Itinerary
8.30am ~ To gather at Seafest Jetty ( if different jetty, we will advise)
9.00am ~ Depart for Timba Timba island
10.00 am ~ Arrive at Timba- Timba Island [RM10 entrance fee is included in package], You can walk around the island and take photos.
11.00 am ~ Depart to Mataking island
11.30 am ~ Packed Lunch at Mataking Besar Island and snorkeling at Mataking Kecil island.
2.00 pm ~ Depart to Pom Pom Island for snorkeling.
3.30 pm ~ Return back to Semporna
4.30 pm ~ Arrive at Jetty.
Include: Return boat, packed lunch with drinking water, snorkeling set, entrance fee for Timba Timba island, Guide and safety jacket
Exclude: Tipping, insurance and things not mentioned.
For Pom Pom Island, we are going to the location for snorkeling. If you wish to go land at the island, there is a entrance fee of rm20 per person (self pay) payable to the island owner. As we are just going for snorkeling, we need not pay this fee.

What to wear and what to bring?
Swim wear, sunblock, sunglasses, hats or caps, sandals, flip flops, towel, personal toiletries, insect repellent, extra clothing to change into eg. Quick dry tees, waterproof pouch to keep your electronic items or personal belongings, sea sick pill if required etc.
